VINCENT SIMPSON NAMED TO ALL-MEAC SECOND TEAM
03/10/09 - Hampton University junior Vincent Simpson (Philadelphia, Pa.) was named to the All-MEAC men’s basketball Second Team Monday night as part of the conference’s tournament tip-off banquet. Simpson leads the Pirates (15-15, 8-8 MEAC) in scoring, averaging 11.4 points a game on the season. He also averaged 13.3 points a night in conference competition.
